Senior Property Manager

OA are recruiting for a Senior Property Manager to join our client’s dynamic and growing team. We’re looking for a Senior Property Manager who will be responsible for co-ordinating and managing all services and maintenance contracts and to communicate with clients and leaseholders/freeholders in line with contracted management agreement to run and maintain their block/development accordingly.

Location: Borehamwood

Hours: Monday – Friday. 9am-5:30pm. Hybrid working considered.

Salary: £35,000-£45,000 – depending on experience

Key Responsibilities:

  • Preparing annual service charge budgets
  • Insurance claims handling
  • Inspection of sites to ensure the quality of services provided are satisfactory and to identify building repairs in line with health and safety issues.
  • Health & Safety Compliance
  • Coordinate contractors
  • Liaise with other team members and departments
  • Building strong and proactive relationships with your clients
  • Respond to leasehold enquiries in an efficient manner
  • Attend external meetings as needed

Skills and Experience:

  • Strong management and organisational skills
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Good attention to detail
  • The ability to multitask
  • You will ideally be IRPM qualified
  • Knowledge of property management principles and procedures.
  • Good soft skills when dealing with people to empathise and understand the customers’ needs.
  • Working knowledge of a property management computer system.
  • Working knowledge of windows-based spreadsheets – i.e. Excel
  • Ability to use Microsoft Word
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.
