Job summary

Bovis is seeking a Project Director to lead a major live MOD build with multiple assets, including new offices, accommodation and refurbishments. You will provide project leadership and deliver the project strategy, plans and NEC4 contract compliance.

You will manage senior stakeholders, risk, procurement, and cross-site services, setting up delivery teams, schedules and cost controls while driving safety and a culture of continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Proven ability to measure project performance using appropriate tools and techniques.
• Experience delivering circa £180/200m large multi-building and infrastructure projects.
• Experience with MOD projects and NEC contract forms.
• Strong pre-construction planning and bid-team experience.
• Knowledge of CDM and Building Safety Act and their impact on duties.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement the project strategy, processes and working methods.
• Create and maintain an Incident and Injury Free safety culture.
• Review progress and report to leadership and clients.
• Identify corrective actions and drive continuous improvement.
• Lead on client and partner stakeholder relationships.
• Develop programmes and schedules for your project (site logistics, design, procurement, construction and commissioning).
• Maintain cost control and manage risk with the project commercial lead.
• Develop a people plan for talent retention and recruitment.
• Develop project level quality plans and a culture of 'Right first time'.
• Lead supply chain strategy and performance management.
• Contribute to project conversion processes and strategic frameworks.
• Build external relationships to support resourcing and performance.
