Job summary

Bovis Consulting is recruiting a Senior Project Manager to lead built environment projects across the UK. You will drive multi-disciplinary teams, manage risk, and ensure health, safety and quality compliance while coordinating design, development and delivery to meet programme milestones.

The role requires extensive experience in complex project delivery within live environments, strong stakeholder engagement, and proven leadership across project teams.

Qualifications

• Experience in complex project delivery within live operational environments.
• Health, safety, quality and environmental focus on projects.
• Qualifications in project management or construction-related discipline.
• Knowledge of construction and property industries and related disciplines.
• Problem-solving and analytical skills for resolving planning and procurement issues.
• Strong interpersonal skills to prepare reports and build relationships.
• Proven track record leading project teams in regulated environments.
• Experience delivering integrated and sustainable solutions.

Responsibilities

• Determine project management, technical services and external resources required for the project on an individual and team basis.
• Planning, leading and managing a project team to deliver integrated, sustainable, and effective solutions.
• Establishing strong relationships with partners and stakeholders at all levels with approvals in place.
• End-to-end execution planning and management with clear goals and defined deliverables.
• Ensuring integration of design, development, commissioning delivery and process requirements.
• Reporting of project performance using project control tools, including earned value and quantitative risk analysis.
• Ensuring thorough management of deliverables and team safety.
• Collaboratively work with the construction manager/delivery team and external resources to deliver the project.
• Manage consultant team and stakeholders to ensure completion of responsibilities.
• Display strong communication and negotiation skills to support client focus.
• Maintain program milestones and submissions with proactive acceleration if needed.
• Produce design and authorities programme integrated with procurement and delivery programme.
• Deliver to milestones from concept to handover and closeout.
• Assist with sequencing/methodology and production of stating plans.
