Job summary

AECOM is seeking a Senior Project Controls Consultant to join our Integrated Programme Controls team in the UK, with offices in Birmingham, Manchester or London. The role focuses on delivering project and programme controls, cost capture and reporting for major infrastructure clients.

You will establish cost control systems, manage budgets, and provide dashboards and analyses to support decision-making across multi-disciplinary projects. Hybrid working options are available within our UK offices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from a recognised university.
• Experience in multi-discipline projects with client-facing responsibility.
• Strong organisational, coordination and people management skills.
• Advanced planning, scheduling, cost engineering, change control, risk and opportunity management.
• PMO experience or understanding of PMO functions.
• Experience in large infrastructure projects; formal project management qualification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Establishing and enhancing cost control systems.
• Initial responsibility for day-to-day collection of cost information.
• Establishment and operation of cost management processes.
• Monitoring management budgets and providing cost metrics.
• Managing project budgets for labour, equipment, materials and subcontract costs.
• Reporting costs against activities and providing cost flow and cash flow forecasts.
• Delivering data analyses and dashboards for project decisions.
