Job summary

AECOM Limited is seeking a Senior Cost Manager in Birmingham to join the Birmingham Cost Management team. You will lead cost management across the full project lifecycle, mentor junior staff, and ensure delivery from inception through to final account and post‑contract valuations.

Qualifications

Degree in Quantity Surveying or Cost Management and Chartered status with RICS.
Proven experience in cost management across full project lifecycles.
Ability to advise on cost, value and risk with digital measurement and tender docs.

Responsibilities

Lead projects from inception to completion from a cost management perspective.
Provide mentoring to junior staff and manage project teams.
Produce cost estimates, cost plans, procurement advice and post‑contract valuations.
Ensure timely delivery of commissions and client satisfaction.
Build strong relationships with clients and project teams.
Act as client interface for new and existing projects.
