Job summary

AECOM is seeking an Associate Project Controls Consultant to lead project and programme controls for infrastructure clients, focusing on budget adherence and forecast accuracy.

You will work within the Integrated Programme Controls team, applying earned value management, cost control and scheduling techniques, with exposure to Primavera P6, MS Project and Power BI.

Hybrid working, travel to sites, and collaboration with multi-disciplinary teams are part of the role.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree from a recognised and accredited university or hold a project controls/management qualification.
• Proven experience in Cost Control or Planning & Scheduling in multi‑discipline projects.
• Experience implementing Earned Value Management based Project Control systems.
• Proficient in critical project management concepts including EVM, scheduling, risk analysis.

Responsibilities

• Manage and deliver project and programme controls for clients, focusing on budget and forecast costs.
• Support the business and project delivery within the Integrated Programme Controls team.
• Apply PMO best practice in infrastructure consulting environments.
• Assist in cost reporting, trend analysis and variance reviews.
