Job summary

AECOM is seeking a Senior Risk Manager to implement and advise on risk management solutions across major infrastructure projects across the UK. You will work within the Integrated Programme Controls team, engaging with senior stakeholders and clients to understand risk exposure and support effective decision making.

The role involves developing robust risk governance, risk registers, and mitigation plans, plus performing QCRA/QSRA analyses and mentoring staff.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or risk management qualification.
• Experience in multi-discipline project environments.
• 3+ years in risk management; 2+ years on high-value projects.

Responsibilities

• Engage with project teams to implement risk management.
• Provide input to bids/proposals to secure new business.
• Perform risk assurance checks for project/programs.
• Communicate risk data to senior leaders.
• Coach and mentor staff in risk management best practices.
• Identify, assess and prioritise risks.
• Develop Risk Registers and Risk Management Plans.
• Conduct Quantitative Risk Analysis (QCRA/QSRA) including Monte-Carlo methods.
• Design and implement risk management frameworks.
• Support cost, scheduling, and change management teams.
