AECOM in the UK is seeking a Senior Project Controls Consultant to join our Integrated Programme Controls team in Birmingham, with options for Manchester or London offices. You’ll manage cost control, budgets, and reporting for major infrastructure projects, delivering dashboards and data-led insights using digital tools.

We value PMO experience, strong cost engineering skills, and advanced proficiency in Primavera P6 and Power BI, with a client-facing mindset and ability to lead cost management

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required with multi-discipline project experience.
• Experience in a consultancy environment with client-facing responsibilities is essential.
• Strong organisational, coordination and people management skills.
• Advanced planning, scheduling, cost engineering, change control, risk and opportunity management.
• Proven PMO experience and understanding of PMO functions.

Responsibilities

• Establish and manage cost control and reporting processes.
• Prepare weekly/monthly cost flow forecast, cash flow and cost value reporting.
• Manage project budgets including labour, equipment, materials and subcontract costs.
• Provide data analysis and dashboards to support project decisions.
