Job summary

SGN is seeking a highly skilled Senior Programme Manager to lead complex, multi-workstream change programmes and ensure benefits realisation across the network. You will oversee the full lifecycle from business case development through initiation to implementation, managing budgets, risks and stakeholders in a cross-functional environment.

The role requires collaboration with operational leaders, driving governance and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Typically 5+ years managing complex business change programmes.
• Experience delivering organisational, process and service change.
• Strong knowledge of MSP, APM/PMBOK or Agile Programme Management.
• Proven leadership, stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
• Experience in utilities sector is a bonus.

Responsibilities

• Full lifecycle ownership: lead the planning, execution and delivery of medium-to-large-scale programmes across the business.
• Develop and manage comprehensive plans including scope, timeline, budget and resource requirements.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and effective delivery across all workstreams.
• Monitor programme performance, milestones, risks and issues; implement corrective actions.
• Engage with stakeholders at all levels, providing clear, concise updates.
• Define governance aligned to portfolio and enterprise governance.
• Ensure governance, controls, assurance and reporting standards are followed.
• Drive continuous improvement in delivery through sharing best practices and lessons learned.
• Support change management and business readiness activities for successful adoption.
