Job summary

Our client is seeking a Senior Project Manager to provide project control, project office, and programme support across complex change initiatives. This full-time, permanent role demands governance, reporting, and control frameworks to ensure successful delivery of projects and programmes.

Qualifications

• Experience providing project controls for complex change initiatives.
• Ability to consolidate project information into clear management reports.
• Proficiency with MS Office and portfolio/project tools.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain proportionate project-control arrangements for complex or critical projects, including integrated plans, milestone and deliverable tracking, dependency management, change control, risk mitigation actions, resource allocation and contingency plans.
• Assess project information for completeness and consistency, identify material divergences and provide clear escalation to project or programme leadership.
• Prepare consolidated status reporting, dashboards and governance materials for project steering committees, programme forums and the Change Management Committee.
• Coordinate governance calendars, decision-making forums, reporting cycles and assurance requirements across assigned projects or programmes.
• Maintain traceability between approved business cases, project deliverables, expected outcomes and business benefits.
• Track the timing, ownership and status of business benefits, highlighting variances from the approved business case for management review.
• Coordinate programme-level dependencies, resource requirements, risks and issues, ensuring impacts across related workstreams or projects are visible.
• Support project and programme leads with scope definition, delivery planning, implementation readiness, handover and post-implementation review.
• Provide day-to-day supervision, guidance and quality review for project support resources where assigned, without necessarily holding formal line-management responsibility.
• Develop and promote consistent project-management templates, reporting standards, controls and working practices.
• Facilitate meetings and workshops involving stakeholders across business areas and locations, ensuring decisions, actions and accountabilities are clearly recorded.
• Contribute to lessons learned and continuous improvement of the project and programme governance framework.
• From time to time, your role may be adapted to support the implementation of new processes, systems or control requirements.
