Job summary

SGN is seeking an experienced Senior Programme Manager to lead the delivery of complex, multi-workstream programmes. You will oversee the full change lifecycle—from business case through initiation to implementation and benefits realisation—managing cross-functional teams, budgets, risks and stakeholders for timely, successful outcomes.

The role requires working in a hybrid model with travel to SGN offices across Southern England, Scotland and other regions as needed, depending on programme

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience managing complex business change programmes.
• Experience delivering organisational, process and service change.

Responsibilities

• Full lifecycle ownership: lead planning, execution, and delivery of medium-to-large programmes across the business.
• Develop and manage comprehensive plans including scope, timeline, budget, and resources.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and delivery across all workstreams.
• Monitor programme performance, milestones, risks, and issues with corrective actions.
• Engage with stakeholders at all levels, including executive sponsors, providing updates.
• Define and facilitate governance aligned to portfolio and enterprise governance.
• Ensure compliance with governance, controls, assurance and reporting standards.
• Drive continuous improvement and share lessons learned for PMO maturity.
• Support change management and business readiness activities for successful adoption.
