Job summary

Turner & Townsend is seeking a Major Programmes Lead / Senior Programme Director or Programme Management Office Director to steer £500m+ capital programmes in complex construction environments. You will unite strategic leadership with deep delivery expertise, guiding stakeholders and driving critical investment decisions to realise client outcomes.

You will oversee end-to-end delivery from mobilisation to benefits realisation, manage governance and risk, and lead diverse teams across business

Qualifications

Proven experience delivering high-profile transformation/real estate programmes (£250-£500m+) with tangible benefits for clients.
Ability to lead multi-disciplinary teams including project controls, technical and commercial.
Experience at C-suite level with exceptional communication and influence; strong stakeholder engagement.
Knowledge of construction procurement routes and contracts (NEC, JCT).
Strong health and safety leadership with understanding of CDM and Building Safety Act.

Responsibilities

Define and champion the programme vision aligned with client objectives and investment strategies.
Provide executive leadership across multidisciplinary teams with a high-performance culture.
Establish governance, reporting and assurance frameworks for effective oversight.
Oversee commercial performance, forecasting, investment controls and value management.
Identify growth opportunities and contribute to business development and market expansion.
