About the Role

At Perk, we empower cross-functional teams to deliver exceptional results for our customers and the business. We are looking for a Senior Product Operations Manager to join our Payments group—the engine that ensures every transaction on our platform is seamless, secure, and scalable.

The Payments product area is a critical pillar of Perk’s platform. It handles complex flows involving money movement, settlement, billing and financial reporting across our global platform. For our customers, it means reliability and a smooth accounting reconciliation process; for our internal teams, it means efficiency and automation.

In this role, you will lead operational excellence initiatives for the Payments area, identifying and solving systemic challenges that impact multiple squads and tribes, such as scaling our hotel invoice collection process, or ensuring reliable, optimal supplier payments. You’ll be the go‑to person for coordinating rapid responses to operational crises and will design the frameworks that ensure high-performance operations as we scale. We need a strategic thinker who is obsessed with execution and can step into the shoes of our internal users—like Finance and Customer Care—to design impactful, intuitive workflows.

What You’ll Do
  • Drive Operational Excellence: Lead initiatives across the Payments product area to solve systemic challenges. Develop and implement frameworks that ensure consistent, high-performance operations across teams.

  • Optimise at Scale: Use advanced data analysis to identify inefficiencies and propose improvements that generate significant value, using AI to drive automation.

  • Be the Internal Voice of the Customer: Balance internal teams’ operational needs with broader business objectives, ensuring efficiency gains never sacrifice the end-user experience.

  • Manage Complex Risks: Proficiently identify and mitigate operational, security, financial, and compliance risks across the product area. Collaborate with Legal and Security teams to define acceptable risk levels and implement robust controls.

  • Influence and Collaborate: Work with stakeholders across the company, as well as third parties, to define your goals and execute your plans.

  • Mentor and Lead: Provide guidance to more junior team members, helping them grow in their roles.

What You’ll Need
  • Experience That Counts: Extensive experience in a tech-driven operations role (typically 5+ years in tech). Experience in the Payments or Fintech space is a strong plus.

  • Data Fluency: Proficiency in using advanced data analysis tools and methodologies to drive decision-making and measure success.

  • Process Design Expertise: A proven ability to design and optimize complex end-to-end processes, including experience with wireframing and user flow visualization.

  • Risk & Compliance Mindset: Comfortable navigating complex regulatory environments and identifying financial or operational risks before they become issues.

  • Strategic Execution: A track record of breaking down complex, systemic problems into actionable steps that deliver incremental value.

  • Stakeholder Mastery: The ability to influence across functions, evaluate requests based on clear prioritization, and confidently say "no" when alignment is missing.

  • Communication Excellence: Skill in translating complex operational narratives into straightforward, structured communications for diverse audiences.

How We Work

At Perk, we take an IRL-first approach to work, where our team works together in-person 3 days a week. As such, this role requires you to be based within commuting distance of our hubs. We fundamentally believe in the value of meeting in real life to improve connectivity, productivity, creativity and ultimately making us a great place to work.

For certain roles, we can help with relocation from anywhere in the world, English is the official language at the office. Please submit your resume in English if you choose to apply. Do not forget to submit an updated portfolio and/or resume.

Perk is a global company with a diverse customer base, and we want to make sure the people behind our product reflect that. We’re an equal opportunity employer, which means you’re welcome at Perk regardless of how you look, where you’re from, or anything else that makes you, well, you.
