Job summary

Riverlane in Cambridge, UK, is seeking a Senior Product Manager with a strong background in science or engineering and quantum computing or HPC experience to shape and grow a key part of our software portfolio.

This early-stage, fast-moving area will define its direction as you run what exists and drive the strategy, collaborating with users, partners and cross-functional teams to translate real-world challenges into a compelling product roadmap.

Qualifications

• Background in engineering or science (degree or equivalent).
• 4+ years in B2B product management.
• Experience in HPC or quantum computing translating complex trade-offs into product decisions.
• High emotional intelligence and strong collaboration.
• Excellent communication, presentation and documentation skills.
• Willingness to travel occasionally (roughly quarterly, under 10%).
• Startup experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Own the strategy and roadmap for your product area, balancing user needs, stakeholder input and the company’s strategic direction
• Engage with customers, partners and internal teams to build a complete picture of market needs and the competitive landscape
• Use product usage data, market insight and competitive analysis to prioritise features and drive adoption
• Align stakeholders across the C-suite, research, engineering, business development and marketing, and identify new market opportunities for the company
• Support go-to-market execution and launch readiness with Marketing and Business Development, including external collateral and documentation
• Monitor delivery progress and adapt plans as new challenges or opportunities emerge
