Job summary

Riverlane in Cambridge is hiring a Senior Embedded Systems Software Engineer to bridge Riverlane software with customer quantum hardware. You will guide product integration and help troubleshoot complex quantum systems.

You will develop the software stack to run on customer quantum computers, enabling experiments and implementing Riverlane's error-correction algorithms in a fast, low-latency environment. A strong background in embedded C/C++, Python and HDL is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant engineering or science field.
• Strong experience in embedded software development (C/C++, Python).
• Experience with hardware interfaces and low-latency systems is valued.
• Familiarity with hardware description languages preferred.

Responsibilities

• Integrate Riverlane software with customer quantum hardware stacks.
• Develop and debug embedded software for Deltaflow hardware.
• Collaborate with customers and Riverlane teams to design experiments.
