Role Purpose
Main Responsibilities
  • Be seen as the go to subject matter expert on all our 3rd party services
  • Have a thorough knowledge of all our 3rd party services cost models and P&L
  • Adept at managing 3rd party partner relationships
  • Identify new 3rd party opportunities, assess and select partners
  • Build business cases and gain approval for onboarding partners and their services
  • Design, develop and deliver new 3rd party services
  • Work with GTM and the broader community to test and launch new products and services
  • Be a VAS cheerleader, championing and evangelising the services and their customer and business benefits across the business
  • Optimise, enhance and improve the performance of 3rd parties services at PoS and through in‑life cross and upsell activity
  • Manage the 3rd party product lifecycle, including market analysis, requirements definition, roadmap planning, and performance tracking through to end of life.
  • Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders (Connectivity & retention squads, Commercial, Marketing, CX, Ops, Purchasing & supply chain etc.) and external partners to drive product improvements and enhancements
  • Use data‑driven insights to inform decision‑making, prioritise initiatives, and measure product success against key business metrics.
  • Advocate for the customer voice in all product decisions, ensuring a seamless and delightful experience across connectivity and telephony services.
  • Represent TalkTalk in partner‑facing forums, building strong relationships and ensuring mutually beneficial outcomes.
Knowledge, Skills & Experience
Knowledge:
  • Deep understanding of the telecoms sector and TalkTalk’s existing VAS portfolio including TV, Security Wi‑Fi and Email
  • Familiarity with product management methodologies, agile delivery, and end‑to‑end product lifecycle.
  • Awareness of partner management approaches and commercial frameworks.
Skills:
  • Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills, able to influence at all levels internally and externally.
  • Excellent analytical and problem‑solving abilities, with a data‑led approach to prioritisation and decision‑making.
  • Effective communicator, able to convey complex ideas simply and build consensus.
  • Project delivery expertise, with a track record of managing multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
Experience:
  • Significant experience (typically 5+ years) in product management within telecoms or technology sectors.
  • Proven record of delivering successful products in partnership‑driven settings.
  • Exposure to managing third‑party partner relationships, ideally in a strategic context.
  • Existing relationships TalkTalk partners within the TV and security industry will be beneficial
