Job summary

Glanua is seeking a Design Lead for Process & Hydraulic Engineering to deliver water and wastewater projects from concept to commissioning. You will own robust design solutions, manage interdisciplinary inputs, and drive high-quality outcomes across MEICA and civil disciplines.

You will lead a team of engineers in a collaborative, safety-focused environment, developing client relationships and contributing to tender design, along with continuous improvement of design processes.

Qualifications

• Minimum Level 8 Honours Degree in Chemical, Water/Wastewater, Environmental, or Process Engineering.
• Minimum of 12 years’ relevant experience in a similar role, preferably within the water, wastewater, or process engineering sectors.
• Professional accreditation (e.g., Chartered Engineer) is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Lead design leadership for process, hydraulic engineering and MEICA interfaces.
• Coordinate with MEICA, Digital, planners, and project managers to maintain technical alignment.
• Develop and review PFDs, P&IDs, control philosophies, and constructability assessments.
• Lead design reviews, HAZOPs and constructability workshops to ensure quality and compliance.
• Mentor and develop junior engineers and designers, promoting technical excellence.
