Job summary

Glanua is seeking a Design Lead for Process & Hydraulic Engineering to deliver water and wastewater projects from concept to commissioning. You will own robust design solutions, manage interdisciplinary inputs, and drive high-quality outcomes across MEICA and civil disciplines.

You will lead a team of engineers in a collaborative, safety-focused environment, developing client relationships and contributing to tender design, along with continuous improvement of design processes.

Qualifications

Minimum Level 8 Honours Degree in Chemical, Water/Wastewater, Environmental, or Process Engineering.
Minimum of 12 years’ relevant experience in a similar role, preferably within the water, wastewater, or process engineering sectors.
Professional accreditation (e.g., Chartered Engineer) is desirable.

Responsibilities

Lead design leadership for process, hydraulic engineering and MEICA interfaces.
Coordinate with MEICA, Digital, planners, and project managers to maintain technical alignment.
Develop and review PFDs, P&IDs, control philosophies, and constructability assessments.
Lead design reviews, HAZOPs and constructability workshops to ensure quality and compliance.
Mentor and develop junior engineers and designers, promoting technical excellence.
