Glanua is seeking a highly experienced Senior Mechanical Design Engineer to lead the delivery of mechanical design outputs across water, wastewater, and process projects in the UK and Ireland. You will mentor junior engineers, manage design packages, and ensure compliance with H&S and regulatory standards.

The role involves interfacing with civil, structural, EICA, and BIM teams, using Plant 3D/Revit MEP, and supporting tender pricing.

Competenze

• Bachelor or Master in Mechanical Engineering or closely related field.
• Active toward Incorporated/Chartered Engineer status (CEng advantageous).
• 7–10 years in mechanical design within water/wastewater/process environments.
• Full driving license; willingness to travel across Ireland and the UK.

Mansioni

• Lead mechanical design outputs across all project stages from surveys to pricing.
• Develop designs for pumps, pipework, tanks, HVAC, and process equipment.
• Produce GA drawings, P&IDs, equipment schedules, and hydraulic calculations.
• Mentor junior engineers and ensure design quality and safety compliance.
• Coordinate interfaces with Civil/Structural, EICA, and BIM teams; support tendering.
