Job summary

Glanua seeks a Process Engineer to support the Process & Hydraulic Engineering discipline for water and wastewater projects in the UK & Ireland. You will work under senior engineers to develop robust design solutions from concept through commissioning and operation.

Working within a multi-disciplinary team, you will focus on Process, Mechanical and Hydraulic design and engage with MEICA, civil and structural disciplines to deliver integrated, high‑quality outcomes.

Qualifications

  • Minimum Level 8 Honours Degree in Chemical, Water/Wastewater, Environmental or Process Engineering.
  • Basic knowledge of process and hydraulic engineering with willingness to develop expertise.
  • Experience preparing PFDs, P&IDs and design documentation is desirable.

Responsibilities

  • Develop robust process and hydraulic design solutions across multiple disciplines.
  • Collaborate with MEICA, Electrical and Automation teams to deliver integrated designs.
  • Produce technical outputs including PFDs, P&IDs, design reports and layouts.
  • Support site investigations, constructability assessments and testing activities.
  • Assist in tender proposals and continuous improvement of design methods.
