Job summary

A leading engineering consultancy in the UK is looking for a Senior Project Engineer for a 12-month contract based in Chester. In this role, you will lead project delivery, provide technical support, and ensure compliance with engineering standards in a heavily regulated environment. Candidates must have a degree in a relevant engineering discipline and at least five years of industry experience. This position offers a competitive rate of £60-£70 per hour.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years' experience in a heavily regulated industry.
• Experience on a Nuclear Licenced site or top tier COMAH site.
• Appreciation of current health and safety legislation.

Responsibilities

• Lead delivery of major projects and smaller work packages.
• Accountable for developing project plans and schedules.
• Identify solutions to technical problems encountered on site.
