Job summary

Stantec is seeking a Senior Process Engineer for Clean Water projects across the Midlands, Wales and beyond. You will lead process solutions, perform design calculations and coordinate across multidisciplinary teams to deliver robust, affordable water treatment outcomes.

You will mentor junior engineers, contribute to proposals, and help grow the process engineering capability as the business expands. A Chartered Engineer status or progression toward it is preferred.

Qualifications

• Degree qualified in Chemical Engineering, Process Engineering or related discipline.
• Chartered Engineer (CEng) with a relevant professional institution or actively working towards.
• Substantial experience in process engineering design and delivery for Clean Water projects.
• Strong knowledge of water treatment processes and related engineering principles.
• Experience producing and reviewing process calculations, design documentation and technical specifications.
• Ability to lead technical work packages and coordinate effectively within multidisciplinary teams.
• Knowledge of relevant UK water industry standards, regulations and design requirements.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills with the confidence to engage with clients and support colleagues.

Responsibilities

• Lead development of effective process solutions for Clean Water challenges.
• Perform process design, calculations, assessments and specifications.
• Coordinate with project managers, clients and other engineering disciplines to ensure successful outcomes.
• Provide technical guidance to less experienced engineers and contribute to bids.
• Support growth of the process engineering capability across the team.
