Job summary

Stantec Inc. is seeking a Senior Principal Process Engineer to provide technical leadership on Clean Water projects across the Midlands, Wales and the South West. You will drive process solutions, perform design calculations, prepare documentation and coordinate with civil, mechanical and electrical teams.

You'll mentor engineers, engage with clients and contractors, and help shape investment decisions while upholding UK water standards and best practices.

Qualifications

• Degree in Chemical Engineering or related discipline.
• Chartered Engineer (CEng) with a relevant institution.
• Extensive experience in UK Clean Water process engineering.
• Proven ability to lead complex, multidisciplinary projects.
• Strong knowledge of UK water industry standards and regulations.
• Experience mentoring engineers and developing technical teams.

Responsibilities

• Take responsibility for process engineering delivery on Clean Water projects from feasibility through to design and implementation.
• Develop process solutions, perform design calculations and prepare technical documentation.
• Coordinate with civil, mechanical, electrical and other disciplines to resolve technical challenges.
• Mentor developing engineers and build strong client relationships.
