Job summary

Stantec in the Midlands is seeking a Senior Process Engineer – Clean Water to shape and deliver process solutions across a range of projects. You’ll undertake process design, calculations, assessments and specifications to ensure long-term value and high delivery quality.

You’ll work with project managers, clients and other engineering disciplines, providing technical guidance, supporting bids and strengthening regional process engineering capabilities as the business grows.

Qualifications

• Degree qualified in Chemical Engineering, Process Engineering or a related discipline.
• Chartered Engineer (CEng) with a relevant professional institution or actively working towards.
• Substantial experience in process engineering design and delivery for Clean Water projects.
• Strong technical knowledge of water treatment processes and associated engineering principles.
• Experience producing and reviewing process calculations, design documentation and technical specifications.
• Ability to take responsibility for technical work packages and coordinate effectively within multidisciplinary teams.
• Knowledge of relevant UK water industry standards, regulations and design requirements.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills, with the confidence to engage with clients and support colleagues.

Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver process engineering solutions across a range of Clean Water projects, including design, calculations, assessments and specifications.
• Coordinate design activities with project managers, clients and other engineering disciplines.
• Provide technical guidance to less experienced engineers and contribute to bids and proposals.
• Help strengthen the process engineering capability as the business grows.
• Maintain quality and consistency of delivery across projects.
