Job summary

Stantec Inc. is expanding its Clean Water team across Midlands, Wales and the South West, seeking a Process Engineer to tackle water treatment challenges. You’ll contribute to feasibility, design and detailed engineering, developing process calculations, drawings and reports.

You’ll work with senior engineers and specialists across multidisciplinary teams, building experience, progressing towards chartership, and delivering sustainable water solutions for communities.

Qualifications

• Degree qualified in Chemical Engineering, Process Engineering or a related discipline.
• Chartered Engineer (CEng) or actively working towards professional registration.
• Experience in process engineering, ideally within Clean Water or a related water treatment environment.
• Ability to contribute to technical calculations, design documentation and engineering reports.
• Good problem-solving skills and a willingness to learn and develop technical expertise.
• Awareness of relevant engineering standards, design requirements and health and safety principles.
• Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to the design of water treatment solutions across feasibility, process design and detailed engineering.
• Develop process calculations, design drawings, technical specifications and reports.
• Coordinate design activities and produce high-quality engineering deliverables with senior staff.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver project outcomes and ensure compliance with standards.
