Job summary

Stantec is expanding its Clean Water teams across the Midlands, Wales and South West, seeking a Process Engineer to tackle a range of water treatment challenges in the Midlands, Wales and South West regions.

You will work with experienced engineers on projects from feasibility to detailed design, contributing to calculations, drawings, specifications and reports while progressing technically and professionally.

Qualifications

• Degree qualified in Chemical Engineering, Process Engineering or a related discipline.
• Chartered Engineer (CEng) with a relevant professional institution or actively working towards professional registration.
• Experience in process engineering, ideally within Clean Water or a related water treatment environment.
• Understanding of process engineering principles and their application to water treatment.
• Ability to contribute to technical calculations, design documentation and engineering reports.
• Good problem-solving skills and a willingness to learn and develop technical expertise.
• Awareness of relevant engineering standards, design requirements and health and safety principles.
• Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to design of water treatment solutions across feasibility, process design and detailed engineering.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver project outcomes.
• Develop process calculations, design drawings, technical specifications and reports.
• Assess treatment options and develop process designs through different design stages.
• Coordinate design activities and produce high-quality engineering deliverables with guidance from senior engineers.
