Job summary

Stantec is expanding its Clean Water team across the Midlands, Wales and South West with opportunities in Birmingham, Redditch, Derby, Cardiff, Bristol and Exeter. As a Senior Process Engineer, you will develop and deliver process solutions for water treatment projects, oversee design work, perform calculations and guide other engineers to ensure high-quality delivery.

You will engage with clients, coordinate with multidisciplinary teams and contribute to bids, while advancing your own chartered

Qualifications

• Degree in Chemical Engineering or Process Engineering.
• CEng with a relevant institution or actively working towards.
• Substantial experience in process engineering design for Clean Water projects.
• Strong knowledge of water treatment processes and engineering principles.
• Experience producing and reviewing process calculations, design docs and specs.
• Ability to lead technical work packages and coordinate with multidisciplinary teams.
• Knowledge of UK water industry standards and design requirements.

Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver process engineering solutions across Clean Water projects.
• Undertake process design, calculations, technical assessments and specifications.
• Collaborate with project managers, clients and other disciplines to coordinate design activities.
• Provide technical guidance to junior engineers and support bids/proposals.
• Contribute to growing the regional process engineering capability.
