Job description

Senior Pricing Manager
London | Hybrid Working
About the Opportunity

Our client is a global B2B software organisation undergoing a significant commercial evolution as it continues to strengthen its subscription, SaaS, and AI-enabled platform offerings. With a strong international customer base and a growing focus on recurring revenue, they are investing heavily in the commercial capabilities needed to support long-term growth, scalability, and profitability. The pricing function sits at the heart of this agenda and plays a critical role in shaping how products and services are packaged, priced, sold, and renewed.

The Role

This is a senior leadership opportunity for an experienced pricing professional to take ownership of pricing strategy across a complex enterprise software business.

Reporting into the commercial leadership team, you will define and drive pricing strategy across subscription, SaaS, services, and consumption-based commercial models. You will be responsible for establishing pricing frameworks, governance standards, commercial policies, and pricing performance measurement that enable profitable growth across multiple products, geographies, and customer segments.

While highly strategic in nature, this role requires someone who remains close enough to the detail to challenge assumptions, pressure-test commercial models, and provide guidance on complex customer opportunities and renewal scenarios.

Key Responsibilities
  • Define and evolve the organisation's pricing strategy across software, subscription, services, and emerging consumption-based offerings.
  • Develop and maintain enterprise pricing frameworks, methodologies, and commercial guardrails.
  • Lead pricing and packaging initiatives that support growth, customer value realisation, and commercial transformation.
  • Own renewal and uplift strategies, ensuring pricing decisions are informed by robust commercial and market data.
  • Design pricing governance processes, approval frameworks, and escalation pathways across the commercial organisation.
  • Serve as a trusted adviser to senior stakeholders on strategic and non-standard commercial opportunities.
  • Partner with Sales, RevOps, Finance, FP&A, Product, and executive leadership teams to align pricing with broader business objectives.
  • Establish meaningful pricing performance metrics and reporting, providing insight into discounting, commercial effectiveness, renewal outcomes, and profitability.
  • Drive competitive pricing assessments and market benchmarking activities.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a small pricing team, creating a scalable and high-performing pricing capability.
What We're Looking For

We are seeking a commercially minded pricing leader who can combine strategic thinking with strong analytical credibility and stakeholder influence.

You will likely bring:

  • 8+ years of experience in Pricing, Commercial Strategy, Revenue Operations, Commercial Finance, or a related discipline.
  • Significant experience operating within enterprise B2B software, SaaS, technology, or subscription-based environments.
  • A proven track record of owning and implementing pricing strategy at a business unit or enterprise level.
  • Experience influencing senior executives and presenting commercial recommendations to leadership teams.
  • Strong understanding of SaaS monetisation, subscription models, recurring revenue metrics, renewals, and commercial governance.
  • Experience supporting large, complex enterprise deals with multi-product, multi-year commercial structures.
  • The ability to balance strategic leadership with hands‑on commercial problem solving.
  • Previous experience leading, coaching, or developing pricing analysts or commercial teams.
  • Strong analytical capability with proficiency in Excel and commercial systems such as Salesforce or similar platforms.
Ideal Backgrounds

We welcome applications from individuals with experience in:

  • SaaS pricing and monetisation.
  • Commercial strategy within enterprise software organisations.
  • Revenue Operations leadership with significant pricing ownership.
  • Commercial Finance or FP&A professionals who have led pricing initiatives.
  • Technology businesses navigating subscription, cloud, AI, or platform-based commercial models.
  • Organisations undergoing pricing transformation, packaging redesign, or commercial model evolution.
