Job summary

Turner & Townsend is seeking experienced PMO Leads to support the delivery of large-scale energy programmes across the UK. This strategic leadership role establishes, leads and continuously improves PMO functions, ensuring governance, controls, reporting and performance management across major portfolios.

You will work with client leadership teams and delivery partners, providing oversight, assurance and insight that enables informed decision-making and successful programme outcomes.

Qualifications

• Significant experience leading PMO functions on major projects or portfolios.
• Proven track record delivering PMO governance and programme controls.
• Experience in Energy, Utilities, Nuclear, Rail, or defence sectors.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead establishment and ongoing management of PMO functions on major projects.
• Design governance frameworks, reporting structures and KPIs.
• Drive integrated programme controls across planning, cost, risk, change.
• Provide executive-level reporting and insight for decision-making.
• Facilitate programme reviews and governance forums.
• Monitor performance through metrics and identify risks and opportunities.
• Collaborate with teams to ensure delivery aligns with strategic objectives.
• Develop dashboards and reporting solutions for management.
• Mentor PMO and project controls teams.
• Support business growth via client engagement and thought leadership.
