Job summary

Aster Group is seeking a People Insight Partner to lead our people analytics capability, turning workforce data into actionable insights. You will work closely with People, BI, Data Governance and IT to shape our reporting landscape and empower stakeholders with trusted data.

The role emphasizes storytelling with data, building dashboards in Power BI, and partnering with HR systems to enable informed decision-making across the organisation.

Qualifications

• Experience in people analytics, workforce planning, business intelligence, statistics or a related field.
• Strong Power BI expertise, including dashboard development, data visualisation and insight storytelling.
• Excellent report-writing and presentation skills.
• Experience working with HR systems and people data.
• Knowledge of GDPR and UK employment data reporting requirements.

Responsibilities

• Lead development of people insight and analytics across Aster.
• Champion adoption and effective use of Power BI within the People function.
• Transform complex workforce data into clear, engaging narratives for decision-making.
• Deliver meaningful insights into workforce trends, risks, opportunities and performance.
• Support workforce planning, organisational design and transformation initiatives through modelling and forecasting.
• Drive data governance, quality standards and consistent reporting definitions.
• Deliver statutory and regulatory reporting, including Gender Pay Gap submissions.
• Combine internal data with external benchmarking to provide context and recommendations.
• Coach colleagues to become confident users of workforce data and self-service reporting tools.
