Job summary

Aster Group is seeking a People Insight Partner to lead our people analytics capabilities, turning workforce data into actionable insight and compelling reporting solutions. You will be the trusted expert connecting People teams, leaders and data specialists, ensuring data accuracy and driving action across the business.

The role focuses on shaping and improving our reporting landscape, advocating data-driven decisions, and delivering insights on trends, risks and opportunities.

Qualifications

• Experience in people analytics, workforce planning, business intelligence, statistics or related field.
• Strong Power BI expertise including dashboard development, data visualisation and storytelling.
• Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills with ability to identify trends and make evidence-based recommendations.
• Experience working with HR systems and people data.
• Understanding of data governance, data quality and reporting standards.
• Experience collaborating with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Advanced Excel and data manipulation skills.
• Knowledge of GDPR and UK employment data reporting requirements.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development of people insight and analytics across Aster.
• Champion the adoption and effective use of Power BI within the People function.
• Transform complex workforce data into clear, engaging narratives that support decision-making.
• Deliver meaningful insight into workforce trends, risks, opportunities and performance.
• Support workforce planning, organisational design and transformation initiatives through modelling and forecasting.
• Drive confidence in people data through governance and reporting standards.
• Deliver statutory and regulatory reporting including Gender Pay Gap.
• Combine internal data with external benchmarking for context and recommendations.
• Coach colleagues to be confident users of workforce data and self-service tools.
