Job summary

Capita is seeking a Senior Communications Consultant to join its award-winning team specialising in employee and financial communications. The role focuses on leading senior client relationships, delivering high-quality communications products, and guiding multi-channel campaigns to meet regulatory and client objectives.

You will mentor staff, manage budgets and collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive growth within Capita Pension Solutions.

Qualifications

• Experience in a senior communications role within DB pensions or financial services.
• Proven leadership in communications planning and delivery.
• Strong writing, editing and proofreading abilities.
• Experience managing budgets and revenue targets.
• Familiarity with bid processes and commercial proposals.
• Excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills.
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Lead client relationships at senior levels, including Cabinet Office and other government stakeholders.
• Deliver high-quality communications consulting and products within agreed fees.
• Oversee multi-channel campaigns, ensuring alignment with client objectives and regulatory requirements.
• Provide line management and mentorship to consultants and contractors.
• Collaborate with creative, digital and data teams to deliver integrated solutions.
• Support Heads and Lead consultants in delivery of engagement projects.
