Are you passionate about delivering excellent customer outcomes and have a strong understanding of Defined Benefit pension schemes? We’re looking for a Senior Pension Administrator to join our team and play a key role in supporting our members, intermediaries, and trustees with empathy, accuracy and professionalism.

What you’ll be doing
  • Providing efficient claims services to scheme members, intermediaries and trustees
  • Applying Defined Benefit scheme knowledge to check and authorise quotations and claims
  • Responding to enquiries and complaints with empathy and professionalism
  • Delivering on-the-job training and sharing technical advice with team members
  • Acting as a technical expert and staying up to date with pensions legislation
  • Maintaining scheme records and investigating anomalies
  • Following standard operating procedures and ensuring full audit trails
  • Communicating key updates to internal teams and third parties
Qualifications
  • Pension qualification such as CII or PMI or equivalent experience
  • Strong understanding of Defined Benefit pension schemes and related legislation
  • Ability to carry out manual calculations and interpret scheme provisions
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Experience managing priorities and working to tight timescales
