Job summary

Stockport NHS Foundation Trust seeks a DTS Network Engineer to join our IT team. This full-time role covers maintaining an Enterprise Cisco network supporting 6,500 staff across Stepping Hill Hospital and 30+ sites.

You will work with the Network and UC Manager on VOIP, Nexus, ACI, wireless, and Firepower, provide user support, and participate in on-call duties. Driving license required.

Qualifications

• Experience managing and maintaining an Enterprise Cisco Network.
• Strong knowledge of VOIP and collaboration tools.
• Experience with Nexus switches and Cisco ACI is desirable.
• Familiarity with Cisco Firepower and wireless controllers.
• Ability to support staff and provide technical guidance.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical assistance and support to staff and service providers.
• Work with Network and UC Manager on network and UC infrastructure.
• Participate in an on-call rota to provide out-of-hours support.
• Occasional off-site work with a valid driving license.
