University Hospitals of Derby and Burton NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Telecoms & Network Support Engineer to maintain and support the Trust’s IP telephony, voice, and network infrastructure across sites. The role involves hands-on work, cross-site travel, and occasional on-call duties to ensure services meet SLAs.

Qualifications

Educated to degree level in IT/telecoms or related subject, or equivalent telecoms experience.
Relevant telecoms/IT qualifications (CTNS/CTA/CCNA) or working towards.
Itil Foundation and Prince II Foundation qualifications are desirable.

Responsibilities

Provide operational support for telecommunications and network infrastructure.
Configure, maintain and optimise voice and network services.
Troubleshoot incidents and faults within SLAs.
Monitor performance and capacity, identify risks, and take remedial action.
Participate in projects and work with third-party suppliers.
