Job summary

Barts Health NHS Trust is seeking a senior network manager to lead network governance and manage a large NHS network service in London. You will design, implement and maintain 1st/2nd line support across security and cloud-enabled networks, ensuring alignment with ITIL standards and SLAs.

Qualifications

• Experience as a senior network manager within a large organization supporting thousands of users.
• Experience monitoring a network managed service against SLAs.
• Experience with CISCO SDA networks and related configurations.
• Extensive knowledge of Azure networking and cloud services.

Responsibilities

• Manage the network managed service to ensure continued operation and service quality.
• Monitor NMS performance, review designs, and enforce security and policy standards.
• Define standards for equipment, software configurations, and processes.
• Liaise with IT teams and ensure cyber security activities are completed and accountable.
• Lead root-cause analysis and provide permanent fixes for complex issues.
• Act as escalation point for network incidents and performance problems.
• Mentor team members and promote an inclusive ICT culture.
• Support fault diagnosis and remediation for network infrastructure.
