Job summary

Greater Manchester Mental Health NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Network Support professional to deliver high-level technical support across in-person, remote, and phone channels. You will work within the Network team to ensure tickets and changes comply with SLAs and processes, while maintaining and diagnosing wired, wireless, SD-WAN, and firewall infrastructure.

Key duties include collaborating on daily checks, guiding fault resolution, and supervising third-party contractors on Trust sites.

Qualifications

• Demonstrates ability to diagnose and fix network faults.
• Strong customer-facing skills and clear communication.
• Understanding of SLA and change management processes.

Responsibilities

• Provide highest level of network technical support to customers in person, remotely and over the phone.
• Work with Network support team to ensure tickets, incidents, requests and changes meet SLAs.
• Assist with day-to-day management of GMMH networks (wired, wireless, SD-WAN, Firewalls).
• Input into daily/weekly/monthly network support checklists.
• Supervise cabling contractors and 3rd-party suppliers on Trust sites.
