National Highways is seeking a Senior Network Planner - Resilience to lead the development and delivery of resilience, emergency and severe weather response plans across our network. You will guide processes, adopt best practice, and coordinate with operations and external partners.

Based in Bristol or Exeter with hybrid working; travel and driving required; you will manage funding opportunities, influence risk management and ensure continuity during incidents.

Qualifications

• Experience leading resilience and incident response plans.
• Ability to translate strategy into practical processes and procedures.
• Strong communications and coordination with internal and external stakeholders.
• Experience with risk identification and mitigation in transport networks.

Responsabilités

• Lead development of resilience and emergency plans for the network.
• Analyse plan effectiveness and drive improvements to meet service levels.
• Provide advisory support to minimise impact to operations during incidents.
• Liaise with regional teams and external authorities to coordinate responses.
• Manage Network Resilience funding and prioritise schemes based on risk.
