Job summary

National Highways is seeking a Senior Network Planner - Resilience to lead resilience, emergency and severe weather response initiatives. You will guide processes, adopt best practices, and work across regions to minimise customer impact.

The role is hybrid, based in Bristol or Exeter, with travel requirements and a need for prompt escalation in incidents. You will drive improvement, manage funding opportunities for resilience projects, and provide consultancy to Operations to ensure service

Qualifications

• Experience in contingency planning and business continuity management.
• Ability to implement crisis management procedures and policies.
• Strong communications and stakeholder engagement skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead development and delivery of resilience, emergency and severe weather response plans.
• Advise on best practices and improve processes affecting resilience.
• Liaise with regional operations and external stakeholders to minimise impact of events.
• Manage Network Resilience funding and identify opportunities aligned to risk.
