Job summary

Siemens Mobility in the UK is seeking a Senior Network Design Engineer to lead and deliver secure, resilient telecoms and security designs for HS2 and related rail projects. You will define architectures, manage requirements and coordinate interfaces across Signalling, SCADA, M&E and station systems, ensuring traceability and evidence-based assurance throughout the project lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Degree or equivalent experience in a relevant engineering field.
• Experience delivering network, telecoms or security designs in critical infrastructure.
• Proven leadership of multi-discipline design teams and client-facing work.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership across HS2 network design activities.
• Develop high/low level architectures for telecoms and security systems.
• Coordinate interfaces with Signalling, SCADA, M&E and rail systems.
• Prepare design evidence and respond to comments during reviews.
• Produce architecture diagrams, interface information and design reports.
• Ensure traceability and acceptance evidence through project lifecycle.
