Boeing UK (BDUK) is seeking a Design and Support Lead to act as the primary technical and functional lead for the Design and Support Engineering team for BDUK. You will provide expert-level support across the product lifecycle, coordinating across Engineering, Maintenance, Supply Chain, Quality and Operations.

• Leadership experience leading engineering teams and mentoring engineers.
• Strong decision-making and ownership of technical outcomes.
• Experience with CAD/PLM tools and design verification.
• Supplier management and SOW/BOE preparation experience.

Responsabilités

• Lead a multi-discipline Design team and set objectives for current and future needs.
• Own relationships with internal and external stakeholders including suppliers and customers.
• Make design decisions and document rationale with accountability.
• Establish design standards, verification strategies and continuous improvement.
• Lead supplier development, design optimization, test planning and ramp-up.
• Present design status, risk, and resource needs to leadership and customers.
• Define scope, author SOWs/BOEs for new business opportunities.
• Foster inclusive collaboration and resolve conflicts across teams.
