Job summary

Boeing UK Defence (BDUK) seeks a Senior Manager – Design, Maintenance, Modifications and Manufacturing Engineering to lead the Design Center and Production Engineering teams. You will ensure Part M compliance and enable Part 145 delivery across customer, BDUK, and suppliers, reporting to the Engineering Director.

You will drive departmental strategy, budget forecasting, and talent development, promoting technical excellence through Design Practices and Reviews.

Qualifications

• Engineering degree from an accredited program.
• Knowledge of MAA RA4800 regulatory articles.
• Ability to obtain UK Security Clearance.

Responsibilities

• Deliver work scope to programmes and drive business growth.
• Manage resources, including recruitment when required.
• Report performance into Functional management meetings.
• Lead people management and talent development.
• Promote technical excellence via design practices and design reviews.
• Coach engineers to grow their careers within the team.
• Forecast departmental budget and monitor financial performance.
• Manage department and programme risks, issues and opportunities.
