The Boeing Company in the United Kingdom is seeking a BDUK Design and Support Lead to act as the primary technical and functional lead for the Design and Support Engineering team. You will guide all aspects of design and engineering support across the product lifecycle for internal and external customers.

Lead a multi-disciplinary design team, collaborate with internal stakeholders and suppliers, and drive robust design standards and governance to deliver programme goals.

Formación

• UK SC security clearance eligibility required.
• Bachelor of Science in Engineering (Mechanical, Civil, Aerospace or Materials).
• Experience in tooling design and manufacturing.
• SOW/BOE preparation and supplier performance oversight.
• Demonstrated leadership of engineering teams.
• Ability to coordinate stakeholders and manage risk.

Responsabilidades

• Lead multi-discipline Design team: set objectives, mentor engineers, allocate work.
• Act as primary design stakeholder manager with internal and external stakeholders.
• Own design decisions and trade-offs; document rationale and accountability.
• Drive engineering excellence: establish robust design standards and verification strategies.
• Manage supplier development and delivery to meet programme goals, cost and schedule.
• Represent Design in programme governance to leadership and customers.
• Lead proposal and bid support: define scope, SOWs, BOEs for new business.
• Promote inclusive collaboration and constructive conflict resolution across teams and suppliers.
