Job summary

Brown & Brown, Inc. seeks an experienced Motor Fleet Executive in Maidstone to develop and manage a sizeable Commercial Motor Fleet portfolio.

You will work closely with Account Executives, insurers and clients, owning the fleet book and driving growth through strong technical knowledge and relationship management. Qualifications

• Significant experience within Commercial Motor Fleet insurance (broker or insurer).
• Proven ability to manage insurance portfolios.
• Strong technical knowledge of fleet underwriting, placement, and market dynamics.
• Excellent negotiation and relationship-building skills.
• High attention to detail with a strong compliance mindset.
• Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Strong organisational, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work collaboratively while confidently taking ownership and accountability.

Responsibilities

• Overall management of the Commercial Motor Fleet account portfolio.
• Acting as senior technical referral point for complex fleet risks and placements.
• Maintaining strong relationships with insurers, negotiating terms, premiums, and cover.
• Supporting Account Executives with new business, renewals, and client presentations.
• Ensuring policy documentation, endorsements, warranties, and cover are accurate and compliant.
• Overseeing mid-term adjustments and renewal processes.
• Driving service excellence and ensuring KPIs are consistently met.
• Identifying cross-selling and growth opportunities across the wider Brown & Brown proposition.
• Effectively managing workloads, diaries, and priorities.
