Job summary

Convatec seeks a Senior Technical Project Manager to oversee Ostomy Care new product development and lifecycle management projects in line with scope, timing, and budget. You will drive cross-functional collaboration with R&D, Quality, Regulatory, Operations and Commercial teams.

The role requires leading core project teams, setting milestones, and managing risk across multiple projects while ensuring quality and cost targets are met. Travel up to 15% may be required.

Qualifications

• Advanced degree in Engineering or Science; MS preferred.
• Project management certification is preferred (PMP, APM or equivalent).

Responsibilities

• Consistently project manage and deliver high priority projects to ensure completion on time and within the agreed scope and budget.
• Be proactive in the Core Team; scenario plan and mitigate risks.
• Lead project teams to deliver low and medium complexity projects on-time and meeting target specs.
• Support higher complexity projects and learn from more experienced team members.
• Establish realistic yet challenging project milestones.
• Establish a high-performing team culture.
• Coordinate across functions to manage New Product Development and Lifecycle Management projects.
• Create detailed project plans identifying activities and required resources.
• Ensure workstreams are integrated into master schedules.
• Establish effective communication plans and stakeholder management.
• Review schedules and escalate where appropriate to ensure success.
• Ensure compliance to Design Control and Convatec’s NPD process IDEAL.
• Set up files to document and archive project information.
• Support PMO to enhance tools, processes, and systems.
