Job summary

Convatec is seeking a Lead Technical Project Manager to oversee Advanced Wound Care NPD and lifecycle projects within the Next Gen Adaptive Platform. You will drive cross-functional execution with R&D, Quality, Regulatory, Operations and Commercial teams, ensuring on-time delivery within scope and budget.

The role emphasizes detailed planning, risk management, and strong stakeholder communication, with remote working and regular site visits to Convatec facilities in the UK and Europe.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience delivering New Product Development projects in a medical device company.
• Knowledge of ISO 13485 and design controls.
• Experience with wound care products is strongly preferred.
• Proficient in MS Word, MS Project, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, MS Teams and related PM tools.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
• Able to work cross-functionally across R&D, Quality, Regulatory, Operations and Commercial teams.

Responsibilities

• Project manage high-priority NPD and lifecycle management projects to meet scope, timing, and budget.
• Establish and nurture a high-performing cross-functional team culture.
• Create detailed project plans with resources, budgets, and timelines.
• Coordinate with finance for annual budget planning and monthly spend tracking.
• Maintain effective stakeholder communications and risk management across projects.
• Ensure compliance with Design Control and Convatec NPD process IDEAL.
• Prepare and archive project documentation and records.
• Assist PMO in enhancing project management tools and processes.
