Job summary

Convatec seeks a Lead Technical Project Manager to guide Advanced Wound Care new product development and lifecycle projects. You will drive cross-functional execution with R&D, Quality, Regulatory, Operations and Commercial teams, ensuring on‑time delivery within scope and budget.

You will establish and lead core project teams, build detailed plans, budgets and risk-mitigation strategies, and support PMO initiatives to enhance processes and tools across the organisation.

Qualifications

• 7+ years managing New Product Development projects for medical devices.
• Strong knowledge of ISO 13485 and design controls.
• Experience with wound care products strongly preferred.
• Excellent communication across R&D, Quality, Regulatory and Operations.

Responsibilities

• Lead PMO-level project planning, budgeting and reporting for NPD and lifecycle projects.
• Build and maintain cross-functional teams with clear accountability.
• Create detailed project plans, schedules and resource allocations.
• Ensure IDEAL processes and gate reviews are followed rigorously.
• Mitigate risks and manage stakeholder communications and escalations.
