Job summary

Qualifications

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• Chartered or Incorporated status with IMechE or the ability to become chartered within 12 months.
• Proven experience leading technical delivery in the water sector or a transferable industry.
• Strong communication and team leadership skills.
• Commitment to innovation, sustainability and technical excellence.
• Experience in designing integrated mechanical equipment (pumps, blowers, screens, chemical dosing systems).

Responsibilities

• Lead the delivery on mechanical engineering solutions for water resource projects through all stages of the project lifecycle.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop integrated, sustainable, and innovative engineering outcomes.
• Provide technical guidance, support, and assurance to engineers and technicians, mentoring and coaching.
• Develop and review technical reports, calculations, specifications, drawings, and design packages for high-quality delivery.
• Build strong relationships with project teams, clients, stakeholders and partners.
• Contribute to innovation, continuous improvement and adoption of new technologies.
• Identify opportunities within the Practice to create additional value for clients and communities.
