Job summary

Envirogen Group is seeking a Senior Engineer to take complete technical ownership of end-to-end capital projects in the UK, with project scopes from £1M to £20M. The role combines design, procurement, and field deployment, and offers a flexible hybrid or remote working arrangement for top performers.

You will mentor the core engineering team, govern technical documentation, specify high‑performance equipment, and collaborate with sales for precise cost estimates to win major proposals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Mechanical, Chemical, or Civil Engineering.
• Proven track record in industrial water, wastewater, or fluid process industries.
• Highly organized, self-directed with strong communication for customer-facing engagements.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end design lifecycle of multi-million-pound treatment systems as technical anchor.
• Mentor and develop the core engineering team to maintain technical excellence.
• Governance and review of critical project documents including P&IDs and BOMs.
• Select high-performance equipment and perform hydraulic calculations for system reliability.
• Support procurement with data-driven cost, labor and subcontractor estimates.
• Lead cross-functional reviews with sales to win commercial proposals.
