Job summary

Envirogen Group is seeking a Senior Engineer to own the execution of high-impact, capital engineering projects in the UK. You will lead the design lifecycle from concept to field deployment, mentor engineers, and govern critical documents while working with sales on winning proposals.

The role emphasizes technical leadership, integration of complex systems, and a flat, performance-driven culture with opportunities to grow within the UK footprint.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Mechanical, Chemical, or Civil Engineering.
• Proven track record in industrial water, wastewater, or fluid process industries.
• Highly organized and self-directed with strong communication for customer-facing engagements

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end design lifecycle of multi-million‑pound treatment systems from concept to execution.
• Mentor and develop core engineering team to foster technical excellence.
• Governance and review of critical project documentation including P&IDs, fabrication drawings, electrical schematics and BOMs.
• Select high-performance equipment, hydraulic calculations, pump design and valve/instrumentation specs for performance and compliance.
• Drive strategic sourcing, RFQs, vendor governance and data-driven procurement decisions to maintain project velocity.
• Collaborate with sales to deliver accurate cost, labour and subcontractor estimates for proposals.

Education

Bachelor of Science or Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical, Chemical, or Civil Engineering
