Job summary

Envirogen Group UK Limited is seeking a Senior Engineer to own the execution of capital engineering projects in water and wastewater treatment, from concept to delivery. You will collaborate with the project management team to ensure high-performance systems and on-time delivery within a flat, fast-paced environment.

The role offers flexible hybrid or remote working arrangements, with responsibilities spanning design leadership, engineering governance, and strategic sourcing.

Qualifications

• Academic Foundation: Bachelor degree in Mechanical, Chemical, or Civil Engineering.
• Proven track record in industrial water, wastewater, or fluid processes.
• Professional attributes: organized, self-directed, strong problem-solving and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end system design for multi-million-pound treatment plants.
• Mentor and develop core engineering staff.
• Governance: review and approve PID drawings, BOMs, and electrical schematics.
• Select high-performance equipment; perform hydraulic calculations and valve specs.
• Support sales with cost, labour and subcontractor estimates for proposals.
• Drive vendor governance, RFQs, and technical data sheet preparation.
